Hi Valery, I completed the rigging no problem. I Am baffled by the printed instructions for the sails. I use google closed captioning autotranslate for your you tube video - its amusing and helpful, but it doesn’t quite capture your intended comments I’m sure. Did you spray the sails with polypropylene? What is the story with the jib? Thanks again! 👍👍👍

Do you plan to do others? I have my eye on the Amati Hannah kit. Also looking at the Privateer, and the Royal Princess kits, both from Authentic Models.

Joseph Rafferty I'm now working on Halcon 1840 1:100 scale which I bought from Aliexpress. I must finish it first. Don't have any plans for another ship in a bottle at the moment. Besides we have only Hannah from Amati available on the market. Haven't seen any other kits. Plus Hannah is pretty similar to Golden Yacht, so it is not that interesting. I was thinking of doing something in 1:72 or 1:50 scale. Small scales... Sometimes I want to break it when don't mange to make a knot at the proper position for the 10th time! 😊

Hi Valery, Please disregard prior question re rigging: Your video with the toe loop on the jib explains it well. Is there a reason that you did not put on the small ensign flag by the stern? Thanks!

Joseph Rafferty no special reason. Flash just seemed to me to be to big. And, yes there are not too much about the jib. Just covered it with acrilyc varnish to prevent it from fleecing (if there is such a word 😊). And then used super glue to glue the rope.

Olga Tarasova спасибо. Стараюсь! Халкон не забросил. Решил просто немного переключиться вот на этот кораблик. Его уже сделал. Так что скоро вернусь к халкону.

Hello, again. Great advice! The super glue on the mast, and the jeweler's drills work perfectly! 1. Did you solder the thread with the hot screwdriver? this did not work for me at all. I am tying one knot, then applying a drop of super glue. 2. Did you say that the mast as is does not fir in the bottle? i should trim the mast by a few milimeters? Thank you! И снова здравствуйте. Отличный совет! Супер клея на мачте, и сверла ювелира работают отлично! 1. Припаивали ли резьбу горячей отверткой? это не сработало для меня вообще. Я связываю один узел, а затем наношу каплю супер клея. 2. Вы сказали, что мачта, как есть, не пихта в бутылке? Я должен обрезать мачту несколькими миллиметрами? Спасибо!

Hi Joseph. No need to translate your messages into russian. I speak engish pretty well, so I even do not read the russian translation you do :) 1. Yes soldering doesn't work at all, because the diameter of the holes is much bigger than the diameter of the soldered end. So I did the knot + super glue. Sometimes double knot. What I can suggest is to make a double knot with other filamnet when you need to make a knot at a certain place on the main filament. And the fix it with a drop of a glue. This is much easier, than to try to make a knot on the main filament 2. Well, the mast may not fit, that's why I lowered the supporting nails (or whatever you call it) on the basement and decided to shorten the mast. I'd say I suggest to lower the mast for about 3-4mm

ювелирная работа. никогда про поворотные кили не слышал. надо почитать как они работают. самое интересное - как ты все это в бутылку будешь засовывать.

Михаил Бару запишу видео. Не уверен, правда, что видно все нормально будет. Все же в первую очередь важно аккуратно сделать, а не на видео записать.
