i think the reason they lost was because they did not add anything to the song. I mean they did not make it theirs. they just performed it. :( The 3 of them are such great dancers but sadly this perfomance did not realeased their full potential. it's a shame tho.

Actually in terms of individual talent, they're excellent. But in this performance, as a group, they lacked team play. You can hear flats and they didnt blend well. Thats the reason why they lose against YG's group.

@music. Yeah i have to agree w you to that point. But mainly, they didnt blend well as a group. They're all powerhouse performers and sad to say they meant to shine individually. At first you can hear 1:04 that their voice didnt blend with each other(goodbye part) and the rest is history. This battle is meant for girls to stand out as a girlgroup, but In my opinion the other group did better as a group. But for them, wrong choice of song. I think they would have done better if they choose another song that will highlight their vocal ability and push to their limits.

For me, I don't have something against them, just plain observation, though you can see that each of them is playing as a team you can clearly sense that each of them wants to stand out, especially when in dancing you can sense that it is not that balanced. No one honestly expected that they would lose. Arguably, these three girls are the top three in the trainees' group in terms of individual skills. When I first saw the JYP line up of girl group during the casting, I already felt bad for the other group. Don't get me wrong, I love all of them especially Kriesha but from an objective standpoint, they were really up against a powerhouse group... So no one expected this group to lose. I haven't watched the full episode yet and watched only the trainee performances and realized where it went wrong. The YG group felt more like a real group and synergized well... albeit unexpectedly. Vocals, concept, sync and individual charms were all on point... while this group's performance felt like a rehearsal. They weren't in sync from the very beginning -- was it because Sohee was a really great dancer that the flaw of the others were easily seen? Not hating on the other two but watching Sohee dance didn't do good for the other two. As for the vocals, they weren't very stable. Probably because the choreo was too hard singing was difficult... But in the end it didn't work for them. The other group didn't have a stellar choreo as this one but their vocals and harmony were really good. As for this group, both vocals and dance as a group were just average. They are all skilled individually but I guess it became their ultimate flaw. The other team were lacking in a lot of aspects but they complemented each other well... It's honestly mind-fucking and unexpected but I learned a lot from this. Amazing. Can't wait to watch the episode.

I thought they have more of an advantage too but really at the end like what JYP says to other contestants, it's about the song choice, I wonder why he didn't do the same to this group to their fullest potential. YG did very well and owned the song so I really enjoyed their performance and it's memorable too. I hope they earn their chance again after the second chance.

Only SooMin is good vocally. Sohee and Minju's voice is too mediocre. Maybe for a Korean it is good, but the other team is far better when it comes to vocals. These girls are great, they still have 2nd chance. I am rootinv for these girls, together with Kriesh.

i think skill-wise they were definitely better but as a team they weren't as good as yg's. i was in love with yg's harmonies. their voices fit SO well. this one was so-so and i thought might be biased bc im rooting for somin but yg's was undeniably pleasant to the ears 😊

But I think it's only because they persist in everyday practicing so- - many years;it is much more than the other team . Soomin is the strongest vocal of the 3 JYP trainees. That's why JYP chose her to start off the song. The judges even said that Soomin saved the group's vocal performance. Not surprising since Soomin was earmarked and trained as a Main Vocal for the past 5 years while the other 2 were trained as Lead/sub-vocals.

+natnut2008 ya soomin was the most stable of the three in the performance. I think sohee's vocals werent on point for this. The song stayed in the low register and randomly went high, the other group had a progression and a big bang. Jyp group just banged in different places and too many dance breaks.

They are good, and Minju is still my bias (she kinda looks like IU and Ailee), but honestly, this feels more like a boring cover of Miss A's song than THEIR performance. I don't watch the whole episode of this, so I'm not sure if JYP encourages them to change up the performance, I partly blame him for choosing such a typical song - that does not show their full potential. Now I'm not bashing Miss A, it's a good song - for idols to perform, debut and sell in the industry...etc, but not for a talent competition at least. Their dance moves were way better than YG's group, but to be an idol needs a good combination between singing and dancing (more on singing), unless they want to be background dancers - which they obviously don't.

Yall comments sound like JYP's group don't have strong vocals hahaha I think the problem was the song choice. This just wasn't their song. They are not just good dancers. If you have watched the show from ep.1 like me then you'd know that Soomin, Sohee and Minju have vocals strong enough to slay your life. I think #Hush by MissA would've been a better choice for them.
