On one hand I feel his mother's pain dealing with an immature son but on another hand, I think that the problem roots in his parents' upbringing way. They didn't teach him to be self-independent, rational and pragmatic. We saw the example here when the mother didn't let her son to finish cleaning although he was going to. She doesn't trust him even such small chores. She should separate him, let him leave alone, do everything and solve problems by himself, and learn from his own mistakes. The most terrifying thing is that he doesn't look bothered by his immaturity 😅.

Because he is accustomed to that, his mother is an independent and controlling person, and he is an emotional, impractical person. It is not that he is not responsible or lazy, but his mother did not give him the opportunity to acquire that, and when he grew up, the matter became annoying for her and for him as well, but he will not be able to change it, so suddenly he will suffer first so that he can be more aware and protect himself. Moi quand j'étais jeune ( 68 ans) quand j'étais jeune nous n'avions qu'une idée en tête c'est partir de chez nos parents. Je suis partie j'avais 17ans et j'ai toujours assurée ma vie. La liberté a du bon. Nous vivons dans un autre monde aujourd'hui. Les mères coréennes devraient se remettre un peu en question.

Dont forget that he was that cool brother of lee minho in the heirs,the ceo of a company in devilish joy,a doctor in emergency couple ,an accountant in numbers ,a well trained body guard in Vip and now a prosecutor to the ongoing miss day and night . . .if u watched all his dramas,then u watch this . . U would think that he must really be a good good good actor and indeed is . . . Imagine me knowing him thru dramas but he is living his life with some kind of comedy. 😂😂😂😅 . By watching all his clips on the show . He is a cool actor but sometimes a part time comedian . I mean he was seriously funny with his mom 😂. I don't know about others but i love his innocence . Just like the hosts said in one of his past clips . . He maybe clumsy and all but he is a good kid with a good heart. . .

OMG! Now this is a real 'reality show', the personality type of his mom is something that cannot be scripted. Awesome dynamic! It's funny and also scary for a son to candidly say about not living together to an asian mom, especially with the sky rocketing cost of living nowadays. Such a hilarious son and mother dynamic. I totally understand why she is overprotective of him not being scammed. I would also will control my child by living together if they were a victim of business scammers or have a tendency. I hope people will understand that and not judge him.

Despite how frustrating he may seem, I'm impressed by his carefree and optimistic attitude. Even when he got the time for the house removal team wrong, or when he spilled the rice, he just handled everything so calmly. I don't know if it stemmed from him knowing his mom would always be there to solve his problems, or he's just so carefree and calm. Maybe it's both. But in a way, it's also good that his calm, carefree, and mischievous attitude wouldn't make their arguments worse. Imagine if his personality was the opposite. He would end up having big fights with his mom and wouldn't be able to stand her. He would be yelling back at her and getting more frustrated with all the scolding and nagging. Jin-hyuk and his mom just have very, very different personalities so they clash a lot. He does need to really sharpen his life skills and ability to take care of things independently. But who knows, he may also meet a partner one day who's just as calm, carefree, and optimistic as he is. Someone who isn't that particular about things. Someone who's similar to him.

Nope. She should have taught him when he was growing up. He's 38, she shouldn't still be raising him. When a child is reared by someone who is controlling, nagging, and distrustful, they tend to grow up overly cautious or completely useless. You have to let your children make mistakes and wrong decisions then instruct (NOT NAG or DEGRADE) them on how to improve and watch from afar as they continue. He displays apathy and lack of confidence, is clearly stunted emotionally, and has not matured as he should. Why does she keep moving in and out? Just move out and stay out and let him fall on his face a few times. He'll eventually figure things out. Why pre-empt him in cleaning and tell him to do it right without even giving him a chance to do it? Because she doesn't trust him to do it the way *she* would. 38 is way too old for someone to be this dependent on their parent(s). His decision-making skills are poor because she dominates and second-guesses him. If he's wrong, so be it. Let the chips fall where they may and he'll learn from them. He's an actor, at least he's in a business where he can play pretend because he has no life skills to speak of. And much of that is a result of poor parenting. Mom needs to cut the apron strings and let her son live his life the way he chooses. They'll both be happier. I think in some twisted way they both like the way things are or else they'd change it. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting different results.

To tell the truth, i m not korean and maybe i have more indipendent opinion, but…. he is so a kind and lovely son. Really, i couldnt be so tolerant, nice, patient, polite and calm be with her. She is very old, so i m sure he is living with her cos he is worried about his mom. Idk him, i saw some of his dramas, but i m sure he could pay for her a house to live there. But she was tooo much for me. Maybe korean mothers r the same way, but thank God my mother dont command me every seconds and lets me live my life without always being so crritical. I like a phrase i often heard as child often: U r allowed to make mistakes/ u can make mistakes, dont worried about it! And what if he was acting….. it was like acting scene for me.
