SBV for NMC Registration

What is the importance of SBV and for what purpose it is needed ? Im currently waiting for my UK-NMC verification in the PH, is it required now for me to request or maybe later-on because there might have an expiration date. I need your enlightenment, thank you

SBV (Stateboard Verification) is about PRC (the ph regulator) verifying your registration with them. Without going to PRC to have your registration verified by them, your application would not progress. SBV is done after accomplishing step 1 in the NMC registration. I hope that answers your question. (The same goes for other countries btw)

Have you actually spoken to PRC about it? I don't think it will affect you getting your SBV as long as you are still registered with them and have a valid nursing license however, my knowledge regarding this is limited.

Yes that's right. Everything you need to know is in my previous video :) You don't have to worry about the school as long as they're legit and you upload your diploma then NMC will find a way to verify your degree.

Better to bring your original and photocopy ng board certificate narin para sure kase as far as I can remember, kasama yan sa list sa PRC website. But when I processed my SBV, hindi na sakin hiningi yan.

Hi. So sorry for the late reply. As far as I know, the cost for SBV has been lowered from 200 to 75 php. It only took less than 24 hrs for me to be verified but now I think the waiting time is longer.

OMG! Email mo NMC to cancel your application as nursing associate. Eto email: [e-mail]. Tell them that you made a mistake in registration and that you intend to apply as a registered nurse. Include in your email your PRN number, contact details, date of birth, passport. Tawagan mo narin sila after sending an email. It might take some time for them to do it. Yung iba days, yung iba weeks bago ndedelete ung maling account. Eto number ng NMC. [phone] or [phone].

My account was already fixed. You have to email the nmc about your concern and call them. Include your prn number, name and date of birth.

There is no online appointment for SBV, you have to walk in. That was my experience in PRC manila in October 2020. However, please check in the PRC website or facebook group if there are any changes due to ECQ.

Hi. I’ve been reading some posts na they were able to process their SBV in PRC Davao (but slots are always full) because they’re processing SBV online unlike in other branches so I think, it would be possible for you to do the verification in another branch. However, there might be a delay because the branch where you’ll process your SBV will have to contact the branch where you registered. Better to contact PRC first. Check this link po for the numbers for every branch which I found in the PRC website. www.prc.gov.ph/regional-offices-contact-information

You have to contact the regulatory board that you nominated in your application as soon as you get that email you mentioned. Without doing so, your application won’t progress. Basically, you just have to tell them to verify your registration to NMC.

Hi Benedict. You have to wait for NMC to email you along with the CRM number. As soon as you receive it, you can go to PRC for your SBV. In my experience, I got the email in less than 24 hours.

As far as I can remember I didn’t fill that out. However, if you were asked, just put in date you think you did the exam which usually is not far from your registration date.

Not necessarily. If the authorized person is a PRC holder then an authorization letter with his PRC ID (photocopy) would be enough to show. If he is not a PRC holder, a SPA might be needed along with the authorization letter and a copy of his ID.

I am not sure but may I ask why are you asking about it’s expiration? Because SBV is all about PRC verifying that you are CURRENTLY registered with them as a nurse meaning your PRC license should be valid (not expired).
