Everyone loves a day on the river. Fishing, swimming, boat riding and hitting the sand bars is some of the things we like.

Now this is the kind of fishing I grew up with! Pretty sounds and scenery! Sure glad you went upstream on that first trip so the current could take you back. I actually love drift-fishing on a river. This brought back some good memories of fishing with my dad on Father's day!

LOL! Yes, at least we were up stream with a paddle. I'm so glad this video reminded you of adventures with your father on Father's Day. As I was looking back through this video, I noticed all the sounds of the birds and the flowing water too.. Glad the camera picked their calming sounds up. Stay safe and God bless!

Nice bunch of pan fish. We used to catch bunches of them when we were kids. Loved fishing with my dad and brothers.

I've loved fishing since I was a kid fishing the banks with my mom and grandma. We didn't have a boat but we enjoyed ourselves. I'm going to try to be on the water with my family as much as I can. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and it brought back memories of your good times!

Thanks for the info! I'm going to put a trolling motor on my new to me John boat so I can cover more area casting lures. We use to catch a lot of Crappie using beetle spins

Good times made on the old Savannah I've fished it all my life those breaks are the place to fish I usually go up stream and let the bait drift in to the cover looks like a great fish fry in the making for shure.tight lines from North Augusta SC.

Thanks for watching in North Augusta! The Savannah River is a go to for tons of people who enjoy boating. I'm glad we have it close by. The banks of the river look terrible. There's trash everywhere. Sad.

Oliver, what was that long skinny fish that you guys didn't want to keep? Wonder if there are snapping turtles in that river?
@SaltyReflections2 жыл бұрын
It was a ribbon fish. Great bait for guys trolling offshore. We've never seen a snapping turtle 🐢 in this river.
