I don't know how that's legal to shoot down/across a paved road, near the end of someone's driveway. Wonder why some people are starting to dislike deer hunting w/dogs. Keep up the videos. Be careful!

In the state of South Carolina if you own or lease both sides of a paved road you can legally put a stand up on a telephone pole on the side of the highway, not saying it’s the safest thing in the world but it is legal

It’s legal in South Carolina to shoot across the road from a tree stand or ground blind if you are allowed to hunt both properties just like with dogs

Ask permission from the homeowners and also in South Carolina it’s legal as long as you have license and tags on hand

I was referring to the driveway next to where the deer crossed the road. If my family lived down that driveway I wouldn't appreciate him shooting at the deer crossing there. What if they were coming out to the road at the same time. I'm not preaching, just saying maybe should have edited the video a little better. Keep up the good videos. Thanks!

God bless the hunters of SC, especially dog hunters. There are several reasons SC has the longest deer season in the nation. One because the deer are plentiful but no size because of the environment. Secondly, they are so hard to kill with the woods being so thick . ONE cannot see five feet in front of you because it is so thick. SC has the thickest woods I have ever been involved with and not to mention all the poison insects and animals that can harm you. The snakes lord Ole mighty the copperheads and moccasins and the state bird the mosquitoes. So we are very fortunate that we have hunters willing to brave all that they do just to kill a hundred pound deer or at least. These hunters do have it ruff compared to other parts of the country. So this is the main reason I say God bless dog hunters. And not to mention the yearly upkeep to the dogs with food and shots from the vet. Then most dog hunters pay a thousand dollars or more just to have the opportunity to kill a ninety pound buck. I know right! So God bless dog hunters.🎉

Shooting from the middle of a road...this isn't hunting or safe. No wonder why dog hunters get a bad rap.
