This might be a little long winded but Im gonna say it. Get this to Phil and Katie please. Phil......brother....I am so proud of you for taking your little girl in those woods. I did the same thing with my little girl growing up. Just like Katie.....she learned way more than knocking down a great buck (Way to go Katie) She learned patience, stamina, respect, attention to detail and interaction. By the time I sent her off to college..I knew nothing could stop her. She is now a Magnacumlaude' Graduate of Columbus State University and is under contract as a professional writer just now sold her first book. That book is being developed into a movie. But she came from the Okefenokee Swamp in south Georgia where she hunted with her dad, sat in the back of my 4x4, slept in a deer stand, helped me clean her deer. Ive watched BRO for many seasons and I respect you all...especially my brother in Christ in Captain Buster who prays with me in the woods......but I wanted you to know Phil........you are a great daddy who is making a great daughter. You are so right Gregory. It is a great way to bring up a son or daughter. Out hats are off to your daughter for her great accomplishments. I would certainly love to purchase her book. Let all of us know about the up coming movie. I would hope that many young people would see the advantages of growing up to respect and enjoy the great outdoors; especially when it is a family affair. I use to take the stand with my daughter in front of the dogs when she was like 10, 11, and 12 . After about the 5th deer we pulled her 20ga buckshot out of and none of my 12ga shot I knew then who was killing the deer and she did not need me beside her. Great hunt and great shot Katie, congrats!!
