Due to doctor appointments, for me VA and private sector for The Lovely Bride, I have yet to go deer hunting so far this season. So in the meantime I'm having to "hunt" via your videos and those of a couple of other SC You Tubers. By the way Y'all have converted me from the anti-clear cut point of view I held for many years because a pulp wooder made a total mess of my Grand Dads property back in the 1960s to the current methods that have provided the kind of hunting area(s) you folks utilize. If anyone has not hunted this way down south, I would suggest you find your way here. This is by far, the most exciting way to gun hunt deer using hounds. If people think that hunting deer with dogs is “unsportsmanlike” I invite you to try your luck with a buck running 35-40 mph across a cut over or even beam field and let’s see how you do dropping one. Odds are, you will miss and the buck lives on. This is by far the most exciting form of deer hunting that exists in North America. Everyone should try it at least once

I grew up in New York where dogs are used for rabbits squirrel or birds now I'm in nc yes I hunt with guys with dogs yes the shot is more difficult to make but it takes more skill to still hunt and use your winds cover scents and draw a deer in even though it's an easier shot both are great experiences and I enjoy both ways
