I'm suffering this is 2 years, from Doctor to doctor..one of them told me may be I have SI joints and may be you need injections!! One of them said to me maybe you need pelvic therapy!!one of them told me that I need spinal Decompression! I never get this type of Xray imaging with different positions!! I live in north side of Illinois! Help me please I have low back pain and pressure around my sacrum and tailbone and low back pain and around my buttocks muscles too and thighs and highblood pressure! Help me please with any advices 🥺🙏🙏

Why aren’t these anterior x-rays? How can they see the sternoclavicular joint properly through the vertebrae, scapula and rib cage?

I'm sorry somehow, I missed your comment. SC joints are done posterior because we want to put the anatomy, we are imaging closest to the Image receptor. Even if we did it anterior the vertebrae would be superimposed. We perform the obliques to move the SC joints away from the spine for better visualization. The scapulae are far enough away that it doesn't interfere.
