Why India still needs reservations? India is having very good growth in almost all sectors, why do we really need reservations? A few years ago Modi government has implemented one strategy to reduce gas subsidy. Govt has asked citizens to voluntarily give up subsidy who are able to stand on their own. Now it is almost no subsidy situation in gas distribution . Similarly India needs to give the option to citizens that who ever want to give up reservations and got confidence to live on their own should be give up volunteryly so that this system can be slowly removed from Indian constitutio. Same way govt need to take action on completely removing the caste system in the constitution of India and do appropriate ammemdent s.. India will be heaven without reservations...

Reservation is necessary but attaching an income slab is also important so that people who really deserve a reservation will get it.. But no income slab in state government jobs... Only in central jobs and exams have income slab of 10.lakhs

If we keep on thinking about caste discrimination for decades and decades, the very core idea of bringing reservations into the system by Dr. BR Ambedkar will be vanished out. We need to think on how we should come out from this situation.
