If the second half of the Celebration Bowl Corey Fields shows up, South Carolina State will be a force to be reckoned with in the MEAC. SC State had weeks to prepare for JSU whereas JSTATE didn't have as long to prepare. In my humble opinion, Coach Prime tried to showcase his qb son too much. As much as SC State blitzed, screens, slants,quick outs,etc should have been utilized.Both teams having not played a game this season, I predict a different outcome. SC State will face a different team with different offensive and and defensive schemes. I wont go as far as predicting a score or winner but just know this won't be the same JSU team . JSTATE will be ready as well😊

@@BlitzCity10k 2 weeks to study and prepare for your opponent goes a long way! I'm sure you would agree. Getting game films from other schools and notes about weaknesses of your opponents from previous opponents of that team can be advantageous. You played and maybe have some coaching experiences for this game. I'm sure you'll agree with some of what I said. Being able to adjust at halftime from your original game plan goes a long way. JSU didn't readjust well.

Yesssuuuhhh!! I think we’re gonna be dawgs out there (no pun intended). I told my son (#44) to sponge (soak up) and get with his older teammates and take it all in to what they’re doing. He’s on the other side of the ball from what he played in high school (qb), but he started @ safety in high school also. Before injury to the starting qb and kept it out his high school career. So he has experience on defense. I think the defense will be just fine with the returning players and dropping some of these young, hungry guys in there too!!
