Dark is sooo freaking calm under pressure. Dream was destroying him with bc's, but he was droning faster than the bc's could point click. Did you guys see that? like 40 drones went down, but during that dark built like 60 more. And got like 3 more bases while they were dying. He simply out apm's his opponents to death. The casters were at one point were like "ya dream managed to do soo much damage just now, and dark is maxxed out......." All in one sentence. Like they were watching what was happening, but between the two of them combined weren't able to keep up with what dark was doing. I was watching the score screen down below, and seen his worker count go up while those bcs were running roughshod on a mineral line. Freaking epic.

Its hard to win with mech. especially on a big map. You may trade better, but you’re always under threat of a tempo win(for the zerg) meanşng you can always lose, and trying to kill a zerg is very likely to kill you. This is propably one of the reasons why terrans dont enjoy mech

He DID play better. The problem was his decision making, which is to say he played Mech, which you should never, ever do.

He kept building BCs after they were countered. Dream initially played better but why would you produce a dozen more BCS when infestor ravagers are running amok? Dream should have kept up the cyclone switch+ added Ravens & more Libs instead of Sieges to win. That being said Mech is great vs ling muta not ravager infestor SH.

It's more that Dark played extremely well. He executed an excellent defense with a high ravager count, never invested into a spire but still dealt with the BC's. Because he was on roach ravager for so long Dream felt safe going mass Tank only to be thrown off by an unusually late swarmhost switch. Dream played well, Dark just played better.

Using neural parasite in combination with ravager biles biled on is better than just using neural parasite and yamatoing enemy bcs. Because you can stack as many bcs in the line of ravages biles as you want.

God tanks need a buff. Maybe an upgrade for faster siege and unsiege. Or a medivac upgrade to pick them up while sieged. Maybe they pick them up and auto unseige them. Something to keep up with other races movement capabilities.

Tasteless and Artosis have been the regular English casters for GSL for a decade with no plans of stopping, regardless of their actual player aspirations. Also, he doesn't hate either game, he adores them - he might get salty *playing* them but that's very different.

Please do something about Terran Mech. It's absolutely horrible and only continues to get worse as strategies evolve. Firebats are basically useless, tanks are weak without Marines to protect them, Cyclones are too fragile and Battlecruisers are far too slow, don't have enough range with their main attack, and take too long to build. If Dream had played BC + Bio in the first game shown here he would have won with a maxed-out Marine/Marauder/Medivac army on the first push easily. You get to see exactly how worthless mass tanks are -- they get pushed back EASILY by some Roaches/Ravagers. It's almost comical how little the Hellbats do in the push as well. I don't even play Terran and I realize how much of a problem this is. I face off against Bio Every. Single. Game against Terran because even the low-tier ladder players like me realize how terrible Mech is.

costs 200 gas, and takes up the production time of a Starport W/Tech-Reactor. If you're going BCs, you don't also go Raven. Its either/or. (he could have 1 less BC and add a raven to the comp, but it weakens the impact of his BC push significantly, just to add detection) Also, microing a BC/Raven comp is a lot harder than just BCs, you have to keep pulling the raven back or you lose it. BCs auto-attack while moving so it's better to just Set&Forget while you multitask.

You dont need Raven if you have enough scan for the unit, and also making a Ghost would be cheaper and they can just EMP everything. Instead, I believe Dream should have made a squad of 7-8 Banshee with Speed upgrade, they will clean up the Roach-Ravager and Swarmhost really quickly.

How about snipe and yamato for......EVERYTHING!!! Basically, one of these two may be enough to counter all zerg. Is it sillier according to your logic? EMP (cast range: 10, 1 more range than psi storm !!! radius: 1.5(2). Max effective range= 10+2) snipe (cast range: 10). Yamato (cast range: 10). neural parasite (cast range: 8). There is 2~4 more range for you to react, buddy. Don't make to much excuses for the slowness and vision lack.
