Did a hill climb in my 96 Camry with a few uncles and aunties in their S2000s. Unlike ur SC my car could barely keep up. Took the corners like a champ and I'd see them at the very end of the next corner once I finished the current one. That 2.2L 4 banger was worked its hardest its ever been worked in its life during that time. Trans was on PWR mode and O/D Off. Very fun drive.

Do some suspension tuning and alignment with good 200 treadwear tires and good brakes, I promise it will wake the camry up. Sway bars also help along with a more aggressive alignment

@@saeturn29haha appreciate the advice man, but the car got totaled at school a few months back. Was working part time so I was only able to add a strut brace and new KYB shocks. Tires were new but the cheapest brand I could get. Gonna miss that car.

@saeturn292 жыл бұрын
The car can turn in and out of the corners really well if you have the right components such as coilovers, sway bars and a limited slip diff. It's not for novice drivers so it takes some seat time to understand and appreciate the potential of the chassis.

Yes.. stiffen up/lower/TT supra bars/wheel/tires/relocate battery to trunk/LS 400 brakes/sunroof delete (weight reduction) places this front mid engine jewel into a definite canyon carver... possibly superior to the MK4 due to mid engine platform and stiffer chassis.. it'd make a great competition video🧐

0:48 I HATE when people do that in front of me. Move to the side, and it is usually to the left. I am talking about normal traffic jam situations, and it is always some lady who swerves to the left, thinking she is going to dodge all the cars. I am always aware, and I have a good idea of what my brakes are capable of. I never swerve over like that unless absolutely necessary.

I see this method for the first time, used by someone else. I came up with it because I have a Toyota MR2 AW11 with an automatic gearbox. Of course, driving such a car in an automatic gearbox is terrible. However, using each mode of the gearbox as a separate gear is a solution to better use the potential of this car. I wonder how safe it is for the gearbox. Of course, I use the appropriate selection of revs and inter-gas.
