From a Hema practicioner this is way funnier than buhurt and larp, I hope some day SCA will reach Europe. From what I see, is there like a "roleplaying" experience in it, right?

People are fighting to win, so the combat isn't role play. But part of our study of history is wearing armor and clothes from a specific time and place in history. So that part is role play.

@@Gabriel-no1jp Well, there are events every month. They have fighting scenarios like capture the flag, fight til the last man in the woods, or maybe there are bridges set up with hay bales to attack or defend. Look at my channel, there are dozens of videos of these battles there.
