The deck lift auto hold was added for 2021, also now their is no hydro fluid reservoir. Their is now a fill cap on the top of the hydro, still 2800 hydro's. Also has arm rests now. Front castors are bigger and non grooved now. Mine was delivered today. beautiful machine. 23hp kawi. $4500 with my service discount plus tax. I think the battery is put over there to off set the huge gas tank weight.

I thought my 48 inch Liberty Z came with 2800 Hydros but It has TZ 450 instead and you would think that the dealer would know what hydros come in the mower that they are selling but they did not and mine was $5500 and they told me that was a low price for that mower and after I saw that they were not 2800 they said that Scag had a part supply chain problem and they were just using what Hydros they could get at the time and thats probably BS hopefully the TZ450 last along time

Yes. Scag Liberty still uses Kohler engines on them. And why do you feel the cup holder is useless? I use the one on mine that I bought just last summer.

I love mine, glad I went with the liberty z. Mine has the Kohler engine. Only problem I've had was the muffler cracked where the muffler pipe meets the actual muffler. The crack is maybe an inch long.

FR691V = 23HP / FR651V = 21.5HP - owner a rider with a large garden tractor with a Kohler Command 25, pushrods bent in the 1st 10 hours under warranty, then again out of warranty. Would never buy a Kohler engine.
