One day when I can afford it, I want to make an affordable, giant, paste extruding printer for ceramics, cement, etc. This design definately seems like the way to go for this purpose.

God I love your channel. Rolohaun did recommend your channel to me but for some reason I never got to it. Thanks to youtube to pop up your video and I loved it. I am also trying to build a rook ender 3pro bed version because that is the most easily available bed in India. Your video gave me the answers I was looking for. I can see we both think alike 😅. I just took my ender 3 max apart to make a core XY printer, now I have direction about what to do next with it. Thank You 👍 you have a very big fan from India 😊

very impressive. I'm working on a 300x300x375 currently. I'm using 2 lead screws with linear rails for the Z-axis. I'm going to switch to 10mm belts for the z-axis. I'm wondering what your thoughts are about lead screws versus 10mm belts?

They both have their god and bad points. My 300x300x400 works great on 6mm belts, but Im sure it wont hurt to go 10mm.

Build is pretty much the same as the normal Rook, just bigger. The geared z on this is the same as the geared z on a normal 2020 mk1.

I'll release the 120 adapter soon, yes. Tool head is a prototype, it's custom to the parts I had in my drawer 🤗

Should be fine, use the 12t Z-axis

@@nihasdreiacht if doing the 12T version, then all the pulleys on the Z-axis will be 12T. This will not be able to be a fixed bed printer, that will be a completely different design. Rolohaun is working on one called the Pegasus.
