FYI for everyone practicing on the May 2019 Exam, I took the exam on paper and noticed many typos and misprints. Just so you know when you take it: #13: Ages 65-69 should be 3 not 2 #29: ax + y = c, not 6 #38: 1980 population=402, not 420

For me in question 38 it says the value for 1980 was 420 so I got 1.4, why are our values different??

yeah even i made that mistake, according to the answer key i found on reddit, it used 402 but in the question paper it was 420..... an error on one side.

just got 700 on this! with 4 stupid and 2 due to difficulty mistakes! i REALLY want an 800! WHAT SHOULD I DO!! i keep making these mistakes eg reading triangle when "rectangle " is written. and I don't get which method to use even though I know the methods. it is so frustrating!!

For #28, when I find the original equation like you did I divided 3 on both sides and got f(x)=x/3-2 but you got f(x)=x/3-6. Could you explain the discrepancy? I divided 3 to x and -6 but you didn’t do it to the -6. After I plugged in 6 for x, I solved and I got 0 , and you got -4. Could you explain?

You can't divide by 3, that's not allowed. Instead you have to realize that you are simply plugging 2 in for x. Does that make sense?

@@jenzzjfjx333 Yes because the three is applied to the input, not the whole function value, so you want to be careful of trying to get rid of it by dividing. Hope that makes sense.

Basically all you need to recognize is in order to get f(6) in the bottom function, x has to be 2 bc we only have f(3x). So when you plug 2 in for x, it suddenly becomes f(6), which is what we wanted. Then 2-6 is -4.

Hey man I did the sat in march 2021 and I got 520 only so I wasn't happy. How do I get 700 at least in my next one which is at December?

hey, I got 670 in my last official SAT that I took a month ago and now I am scoring in 700s if you should read math college panda! it will boost your score to 650s and teach you everything. then you should not stop there (a mistake I made) but you should do Qand S Available on Reddit and after doing them timed check them and see scaler learning's videos. at this point, after doing at least 10 practice tests, your score will surely be in the 700s! you should finish college panda till 14th max and then do a practice test and check them in the same day. for 10 consecutive days! I am also taking the SATs on 4th DEC! good luck! we have got this! p.s if you score well in reading, give me your wisdom too! i got a 600 on that section and I am kinda stuck there:)

For C to be right, you would need a random sample from all the schools. Since it's only a random sample from one school, the results can only be applied to that school. Make sense?
