Speed is perfect. Tankzone in UK sells a reduction aftermarket gear from Germany. Would be bad ass if someone could figure out how to make main cannon smoke after recoil.

Best way is to build one. Search for custom smoke unit on the internet. Some companys offer smokeunits, too. But most of them are not very good.

This is the Beier USM-RC right and which smoke modul is this ?

Yes, I'm using a Beier USM-RC-2 for sound. The smokeunit is a Seuthe490 in combination with 2 small fans and electronics which I built by myself.

I used photo-etched parts from the company ABER and WECOHE. All clamps, fenders, holders... were replaced. I also made a lot of pieces by myself.

Hi. Thanks. The smoke unit is a Seuthe490 which normally is used for model railways. The fluid is also from Seuthe.

Tschar Hi. No, a fluid pump is not needed. The smoke unit gets its fluid through a small pipe by capillarity.

dragon model i think the zimmerit is sheeted i was going to buy one like this model and there is this clear coat zimmerit that sticks to the side of the model

jago-archie carter Hi,thanks I still havent got any zimmerit but my tank isnt painted yet either so I still have time to put that on. I think I will have to go with that one you said the clear coat zimmerit sounds interesting. I did try to do it with tamiya putty because the vintage king tiger manual says you could add zimmerit with tamiya putty.but that came out horrible because that tamiya putty wasnt easy to work with,I thought it would be easy but it will take alot of good work to make it with tamiya putty,thanks the other option will be better for me.I will look that one up thanks.yea my tank still isnt done but im building 3 different models right now.

...based on a Tamiya kit with additional Beier sound and custom smoke unit. --> It's a modified kit, not a out-of-the-box toy. Look for Tamiya.

great model but the exhaust is more realistic of a diesel not petrol engine unless the piston rings are totally burnt out But hey great looking model!!

+ligerten You're right, white smoke isn't good when you drive a petrol engine ;-). Diesel smoke is darker. But in a model, steam is used for exhaust and it's always white. When driving outside, you don't see it this much.
