Your right, no one person in the band is more important than the rest, they all need each other equally to come together and make beautiful music like this. Everyone, the listeners, the band members, everything only revolves around the music itself and the feelings it invokes

Yeah the whole sentiment "All the good rap from the 90s is gone, all the good rock from the 70s is gone" is garbage. There's amazing music all throughout time, you just have to go find it! The people who throw shade and generalize are only ignorant
@RicoLen13 жыл бұрын
@@QactisX To be fair, it's pretty easy to get jaded like that when all you do is listen to the radio, and you heard great stuff back in the day but now it's no longer on the radio. I mean, of course you're right about having to just go look for it, but that can be tough at times when you really don't want to sift through the muck of a whole lot of bad stuff. Pandora seems to be the best at helping you find new stuff you'll like, at least IMO.
@QactisX3 жыл бұрын
@@RicoLen1 I've found awesome music on KZbin, Spotify, and Apple Music as well. It can be found, but requires effort. No more effort than it took to find a record at the record store, or pay to see a show not knowing what to expect.

I just love how it's not entirely technical spit. "Here's my sweeps, here's my complex arpeggios, here's other bullshit" Yeah, it's hard to play, but it's not about difficulty. It's about the feeling it evokes, and STS has always been really good at this. Always a pleasure to listen to. Some of their earlier works can be a bit repetitive in terms of entire albums when you listen to the songs too much, but their newer stuff has been breaking that more and more, and I can't wait to see these guys continue growing.
@I_am_Jordan_K10 жыл бұрын
That's the big difference between technical music and progressive music in my eyes.
@CamerOneiric10 жыл бұрын
EpsilonX That makes no sense. "Technical" is applicable to any style.
@I_am_Jordan_K10 жыл бұрын
What I mean is it takes more than just technical playing to make progressive music
@OriginalWhiteTornado10 жыл бұрын
Cameron Hewett In prog metal, people say technical music to groups that focus really heavily on coming up with the most complicated and difficult thing they can. Check out Animals As Leaders for an example.
@MultiCynicism10 жыл бұрын
I agree bro its not about making the fastest and hardest music to play, It's about making the most kick ass sounding music whether its technical or not.

So we smoked up in the back of cultural building of the University in my city and when we were returning, I listened to the starting riff of this song. This was pure bliss. I followed the sound and found 4 guys practicing this in a room with their high-end gear. I couldn't help it so I went straight into the room, waited for them to finish and asked what the track was when they told me the name of the song. Man I've been hooked to this one since that time. I placed it in my best of the bests' hall of fame. This is beauty at it's finest levels man. Would really appreciate anyone if they recommended some more music like this or some another great song by the band as now I know what they're capable of. Peace ✌️🏻
