I am building this kit. What a superb model. I am so used to Tamiya . This model is right there with Tamiya's offerings. I have now built three Academy 1/72 kits, F18A, F4 and F8E and all are incredible models.

the build was nice. the only problem I have with it is the fact that you put the landing gear in the down position but put the exhaust in full burner mode or in full throttle

Have you any idea about brands? Academy got the best 1/72 jet fighters range out there. Next time I'll hear that Tamiya got bad fit hahahaha. Academy is quality when it comes to detail and fit, the newer ones surely do

What ratio do you use when you spray your gloss and matt varnish? Do you even mix them with self levelling thinner? Always love your videos mate and his video inspired me to buy that kit!

The main problem I had was the assembly of the nozzles especially to line them up so was disappointed that you didn't show how you assembled them.

What is the price for this? Looking at this compared to GWH's 1/72 f-15E, some parts seem overly simplified such the elevator attachment and exhaust cans. They both build in a relatively snap tight, no give manner. I appreciate the full trunk and better detailed fans but does this kit offer any additional perks worth buying it as well?

Sometimes grease form the tooling (silicone as well) can ruin your paint job. You can use laquer based primer without decreasing but it's better to clean the model. All the best!
