Did you know that all the #AI innovations you've seen or used so far are weak AI?
Artificial intelligence is evolving at a fast pace, and it's important to understand that it is not a singular technology. There are many different types of AI, and they can be classified on a spectrum of maturity.
At one end of the spectrum, we have weak AI, designed to perform specific tasks like #ChatGPT that cannot generalise or learn new things.
At the other end of the spectrum, we have strong AI designed to be as intelligent as humans.
While strong AI is still seen in science fiction movies, many experts believe that it is only a matter of time before it becomes a reality.
What is narrow AI?
Narrow AI, also known as weak AI, refers to artificial intelligence systems designed to perform specific tasks or solve particular problems within a limited domain. Unlike general AI, narrow AI is focused and lacks the ability to exhibit human-like intelligence across various domains or tasks.
What is Strong AI?
Strong AI, also known as artificial general intelligence (AGI), refers to artificial intelligence systems that possess human-level intelligence and can perform any intellectual task that a human being can do. Strong AI aims to exhibit general intelligence across a wide range of domains and tasks.
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the emulation of human intelligence in devices that have been designed to behave and think like humans. The phrase can also refer to any computer that demonstrates characteristics of the human intellect, like learning and problem-solving.
What is Machine Learning?
Machine Learning is a subfield of Artificial Intelligence that focuses on developing algorithms and models that enable computers to learn from data without being explicitly programmed. It involves the use of statistical and mathematical techniques to enable machines to improve their performance on a specific task through experience.
What is Deep learning?
Deep learning is a subfield of machine learning that focuses on training artificial neural networks with multiple layers (hence the term "deep"). It is inspired by the structure and function of the human brain's neural networks. Deep learning models are designed to automatically learn and extract hierarchical representations of data, enabling them to perform complex tasks with impressive accuracy.
What is Open AI?
OpenAI is an artificial intelligence research laboratory consisting of the for-profit technological company OpenAI LP and its parent company, the non-profit OpenAI Inc. It was founded in 2015 with the goal of promoting and developing friendly AI in a responsible way. OpenAI develops and researches advanced AI technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing.
AI vs Human
AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a system designed to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as recognizing speech or making decisions. Humans, on the other hand, have unique qualities such as consciousness, emotions, and creativity that AI systems currently lack. While AI can perform certain tasks more efficiently, it is not yet capable of matching the depth and complexity of human thought and experience.
What are the threats of AI?
AI threats include job displacement, bias and discrimination, privacy violations, autonomous weapon development, and the potential for AI systems to be hijacked or manipulated. Additionally, there are concerns about the misuse of AI for malicious purposes, such as deepfakes and social engineering.

Obviously physical bots can exist, that is just something that is not common, and if it was, humans will be more aware and hostile towards AI.
