This man has brought so much joy to so many in this hobby and I for one wish to thank him for all of his hard work and dedication in his pursuit for perfection. He has saved us from the mundane aspects of the commercial manufacturers. He has inspired us all to try harder and that is, for me, a great thing. Thank you.

Indeed. I have started dabbling in resin heads and Roger has created some fantastic heads that have improved the figures I built. Kudos!

Fantastic. I think the fact that he doesn't see himself as an artist is what makes him a great one. It's pure artistry without all the pretense that we so often see from those far less talented in almost every field.

As a modeller / sculptor myself, the quality and artistic creation here is outstanding. If he lived in the 16C he would be known as a master … craftsmanship that is itself art.

This gentleman brought model making and dioramas to the next level by adding so much expression to the figurines, allowing model makers to portray much more depth to the story that models tell, and he is so humble about it. There should be a kind of 'Nobel prize' for people that have advanced the art of model making. Roger Saunders would be a worthy candidate for one of those prizes

Roger Saunders is a total maestro. The expressive sculpting, the craftsmanship, the sincerity and honesty of his work... yet such a modest studio and set up. Wish more model manufacturing companies still had that 'for the sake of the genre' mentality. Incredible work and sadly seems to be getting harder and harder to get hold of his creations. A nation treasure.

When I was a little boy I loved playing with miniature plastic Army Men. I had several sets but the more accurate and detailed they were the better. There used to be a Set sold that had only Germans Russians and Japanese soldiers. The Germans were of course Gray plastic the Russians were Blue almost metallic blue plastic and the Japanese were Yellow...... They were actually very authentic looking especially considering the very low price for a big bag of them. I was very young but I wished I would have bought about 10 bags of them.

There must be someone stocking them - maybe Hornet has a list of distributors on the website. If not Historex Agents mail worldwide and they are light products and shouldn't cost too much in shipping. Plus, the dollar is high vs the pound!
