Awesome review, I like that it has so much detail towards the Australian market. I guess the jump is included because of the police dynamic. I think Scalextric do need to up play value, my thought would be a simple tunnel or clip on track scenery like Carrera do for GO or a track mat like they do for trains. Great review as always!

G'day mate and welcome back to the hobby. Honestly any set is great to kick it off again, both sets you have chosen are a great start. I think the hardest decision is what brand suits you and your space and it looks like you have already answered that which is great. Try out the set you choose and if the hobby is for you then I would recommend finding used sets for extra track or buy individual track pieces to start a layout, if you buy too many sets you will be stuck with the same bits of track. Have fun with it and I really appriciate you watching legend
