Respected Sir, If vertical response spectrum is not present in seismic code of design, then out of these two function, which function should be used in linear time history analysis 1) Scaling of vertical ground motion time history as 2/3 of horizontal response spectra. OR 2) Scaling vertical ground motion time history as only horizontal response spectra. Looking for your guidance and support. Thank you.

Generally, we can download acceleration time history functions in all the three directions (two hzl and 1 vcl). In such case, you can use the downloaded vertical ground motion and scale it for the analysis. In the absence of vertical ground motion, use 2/3 of horizontal acceleration time history.

U can ask to seismomatch software provider... they are issued the academic version of it... U have to provide only your academic mail info...

It is not matching. Also, it is changing the displacement time history significantly
