i tried to apply your tutorial but the expression did not work for me. i am using after effects cc 2018. i don't know where is the problem

what error message did you get? The problem you might be having is because you are using the Extendscript for the Expression Engine. You got to go File> Project Settings > Expressions > Javascript

@@NoSleepCreative there is no error showing up. the only issue is that i put the expression on all layers and i parent them with the controller (null object) and when i scale the controller (null object) nothing happens. when i remove the expression the layer scale up as i scale up the controller

@@aissamotion6003 that sounds like a bug to me; not sure why that is happening man. I would reference the project file I provided to see where the problem lies.
