Great video. I enjoyed watching very much. I've been scalloping since 1984 and now I captain two boats for Eastern Fisheries ( Fjord & Expectation). I've seen many changes in 31 years. When I started it was on an eastern rig much like the Cape Eagle. Everything is modernized now with GPS, computers and safety equipment. anyway, thanks for the video

I was on F/V Barbara Lee in 1981, went to Alaska. Great time, came home with 3 new tats and a 1964 FLH. Put the bike in the starboard cutting box for the trip home.

I'm with u Shirlie Mae. I grew up in Provincetown, Mass during the 'hey-day' of comm. fishing. There has been so much negative propaganda pushed on people for so many years that we now have a totally ignorant public resulting in horrible laws and policies that destroy people's lives.

Of course, Shirley, you can follow the logic that says that the oceans are plentiful AS A RESULT of proper regulation of the industry, I hope. And a bountiful ocean INSURES the values of which you speak.

it sure is a shame.. before we know it fishing will just be folk tales of the past.... ive been fishing long as i can remember the rules an regulations are becoming terrible and the people are becoming more and more ignorant saying over fishing is the cause and trying to shut us Commercial Fishermen down.. but yet they demand fresh local seafood doesnt make any sence to me
