CT Brain
Clinical data: H/O RTA
Noncontrast CT was done through Brain.
There is linear subcutaneous tissue swelling along the right occipital region is noted approximately measuring 55 x 6 mm (TR x AP) suggestive of scalp hematoma.
Brain parenchyma and bone window appears normal. No focal area of abnormal attenuation is present in the brain. No evidence of intra/extraaxial hemorrhage. Ventricular system and extraaxial CSF spaces are within normal limits, Posterior fossa structure is unremarkable. Note is made of mucosal thickening in left frontal sinus and ethmoidal air cells,
Impression:
Scalp Heamatoma as described above.
