I primarily scalp using pure PA, with naked charts, and multiple timeframe analysis. H4 or H1 for trend M5 for trade setups and management M1 for triggering I also will check for any nearby D1 and W1 levels; yet, H4 (and some H1) levels usually are strong enough to yield trades with at least 2:1 reward:risk (frequently much greater) off M5.

I scalp, and im profitable 1. I only scalp index futures, never individual stocks 2. Daily chart identifies the trend, 5 second chart is my entry chart 3 bollinger bands are only indicator i use 4 avoid trading the open 30 min or close 60min 5 avoid trading any major news, nfp, interest rate decisions 6 only trade when the underlying cash market is open 7 i only risk 0.25% of capital per trade 8 look for continuation patterns, dont try to find reversals 9 dont over trade 10 traders get rich slowly, patience is key

I think a video to also show people how to trade with index momentum is important since most stocks large and mid caps follows the market . Like putting a starter when a move happens and add to size when VWAP passed through and adjust the stop loss to protect the profit while in the move is good tutorial for beginning traders that wants to learn. At the end honestly it’s all on experience of each trader, no holy grail rules.

I have to disagree with you Shae. Scalping has been the most successful strategy that has worked for me. I scalp on the 5 second chart. I tried holding but I always get stopped out. It’s high risk but high reward like you said. Love your channel btw.
@bballah99692 жыл бұрын
You get stopped out because your stop loss is in the wrong place. Your stop is also based on the chart never a percentage or arbitrary number hope this helps.
@bballah99692 жыл бұрын
Also, if you're trading a highly volatile stock that has big spreads and low float and if you're using a thirty cent stop loss on a stock that needs an eighty-five cent stop loss then that is another problem
@spbizzy_2 жыл бұрын
@@bballah9969 I agree. That’s why I prefer scalping. I don’t put a stop loss now because if the trade is not working in my favor immediately, I’m out at the first sign of weakness. Then I will renter with a better entry.
@bballah99692 жыл бұрын
@@spbizzy_ My friend this is simply wrong well if your scalping with size and you stop out cause the stock went against you ten cents, then it rips to the moon this can and will happen. This is why imo it's better to hold longer and let the trade hit your profit targets and if your wrong you stop out that's it and move on. Scalping with size is not easy and can be stressful
@spbizzy_2 жыл бұрын
@@bballah9969 I don’t play that “it will bounce BS” anymore. I don’t have the patient for the price to go back down, consolidate for and then hopefully rip up. I understand you are trying to help me but I’m profitable now after losing for one year by holding onto losers and hoping the price will reclaim that level. You do you man. In the end, the goal is to profitable, right? As long as you are profitable who gives a crap if someone is scalping.

Hey, Shay! Another amazing strategy tips! :) Just a quick question: - What gives you certainty to go long or short when scalping? Meaning how do you know if the stock will go up or down? Is it necessary for me to select a route before a trade or can I let center point choose the best route for me? I just want the fastest execution and of course the best price. But if I have to worry about who to send the order to before each order it seems that this would be cumbersome and cause me to miss trades that require me to act quickly. Can someone help me understand this subject? is there a video that gets into the details of trade execution and not just the theory as is presented here? Thank you.
