Bitcoin price has not been doing really well lately infant the whole stock market, buying the dip isn't a tough call and it's a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. The good thing about the space is that you can buy the dips and put them into active trades, while confidently waiting for a pump in price because it is inevitable. Most people do not understand how the space works. Charts won't guarantee what an asset is going to do. Prices are go up and down and despite the that, the market has been profitable to me. Price action on any stock is just a bunch of random people throwing money in, pulling money out ~ different amounts ~ for different reasons... It's a kaleidoscope of capriciousness, whims and emotions. Out of nowhere 2 or 3 millionaires impose their will on the unsuspecting common masses ~ the small time brutalized, terrorized retailers because they have a few big ideas that need airing out ~ because they feel like taking them for a test drive ~ a fling, a spin, and a whirl. For my money I'll keep on waitin for the next positive PR catalyst, buyin the dip, and payin attention so I don't miss out on the NEXT BIG THING.

Someimes the trendline breaks give conflicting signals. Example attached shows break of an uptrend to go short, but then the move down forms a downtrend that gets broken so there's a new signal to go long. When stepping back from it, you can see it's because price is now moving sideways instead of a nice trend in either direction.
