I had my fair share of losses at the onset of my journey, oh my God did I suck. The array of emotions I went through, up and down constantly. Mostly down, LOL! Last year I realized a loss of 167k. A loss I will never forget. But since that year my approach has changed under the guidance of a pro, and so have the results :) her technical analysis makes it worthwhile. I've been in a trading group since about 2011 and we call that time frame the 9:50 reversal. That's typically when we get a reversal in the market.

@@poison.tree-ui at 9:50 EST. Ie 20 min after the market opens. It doesn't always happen, but that is something we watch for. Also, at 2pm if we are at the lows of the day then we typically retest the low by 4pm. Many times if around 2pm we are at the lows of the day there will be a bounce up around say the VWAP or 200ema on the 1 min time frame and by 4pm close we are at the lows again.

@@poison.tree-ui fyi. We trade the 1 min time frame for the ES and tske profits quickly. If the 9/3 stochastic gets oversold then we start taking profits. Just scalping the market.

As a new futures trader, I thought I was crazy when I saw the 10:00 (EST) reversal... almost daily. Almost like (forgive the expression) clockwork. I thought... man, it couldn't be THIS easy to spot, why doesn't everyone talk about this? Why are we led down other paths? Why is this being ignored? I figured I wasn't seeing what I thought I was seeing, but you just confirmed what I recognized! Thanks!

Well done, buddy. I saw a similar pattern here in the UK, where I can watch the NY session only the last 3 hours of it, it might not be daily but as traders give up on positions, I can see very often a price reversal towards the last few hours.

I have a question.... when you exit a trade at an inflection point. Would you typically enter in the opposite direction straight away? As you're logic should work the other way, assuming you've exited a trade at the next inflection point and not just your profit target. My strategic is very similar to yours, however i look to exit trades when i see the same signals in the opposite direction rather than at a profit target.

REQUEST: 1st thank you for yet another great video. There's one thing I'm struggling with, and that is the RISK to REWARDS Ratio on the Charts. Usually we write risk to reward ratio like this 1:3 or 1:7 etc... but every chart in the trading system look more like this 1.69 or 3.7. I'm very confused by that period and I struggle with using the numbers, since I don't know if they mean the same as the normal x : x or if 1.69 is another way of calculating risk and rewards. So should you have the energy and time to answer this question, I'd highly appreciate it, and very likely others too, as everyone mentions R to R, but nobody talks about the setup, and there's no material on this. I've been looking for 7 months.

Although many people SAY risk : reward, the number they show is reward : risk. Your example 1.69 means reward 1.69 : risk 1. In your syntax it would be 1 : 1.69.
