Scrupulous employers and employment agencies have reportedly been exploiting foreign workers who are desperate to join Canada's workforce. Some of them have allegedly been offering to sponsor TFWs in exchange for exorbitant amounts-- supposedly ranging from $30,000 up to $150,000CAD.
In this episode, immigration consultant Michael Corrales explains how the "LMIA for sale" scam works.

I' am 1 of the visitor from Middle East to Alberta last feb. 2023. I'd tried a DIY application to find LMIA jobs for 3months after landed but failed and so I tried an Agency and luckily I got my 2yrs LMIA work permit here in Edmonton Oct.2023. The company who hired me has available open LMIA ready that's why I got my work permit in 4months time. I paid $10k cad in 3gives for the processing fees.

one good example is support worker are more harder than HCA. i dont see any difference saying that HCA is for healthcare and support worker seems not but the risk is higher in support worker because of certain clients condition but they give more priority on HCA than CSW handling clients with special cases and behavior and they life is more at risk. I hope a have point on this.

Hello. I like watching your show, but I was gonna suggest to split your screen so more of your images occupy most of the screen vertically. (Just like news split screen). It makes it easier to view. I realize you need to sacrifice horizontal areas to expand vertically but on conversational purposes, it’s an acceptable sacrifice for bigger inset views.

Labag sa law ng Canada ang over price LMIA and services..Dapat aware ang IRCC na may nagaganap na ganito at marapat lang may mag reklamo para magkaroon ng aksiyon ang Canada government..

Reality is the govt is not much more of balance because one example is tourism and hospitality stream in Alberta they give more priority on LMIA where they should also think of OWP who has the same experience but they neglect the OWP holder.But they also have the same experience. i dont see any logic. And it seems that students dont have more opportunity right now unless you are really skilled like Engr, IT etc.Some PGWP holder works so hard in the field where others dont like to work because of time difference and difficulty of task. They will always give high CRS for certain job holders and those who work so hard with no other option who are in a skilled work level seem anxious if they will be supported by govt in there application.

It’s a cat and mouse situation. Abuse (mouse) becomes rampant and controversial, government (cat) gets the attention and does something as in banning, changing or enforcing regulations …. As of now, the abusive method is just brewing…. It’s a slow process. Unfortunately.

Maganda siguro dumaan ng legal! May mga legal pathways na programa ng Canadian government! Hindi kayo dapat dumaan sa mga legal consultant kung may kaalaman lang kayo sa computer! Access kayo immigration site at nandoon lahat ang proseso at mga requirements! Huwag short cutten ang proseso para hindi mapariwara!

In 2007 this was also happened taking an additional fee from TFW by the Agency / middle man without the knowledge of the employer. TFW bring the matter to employer so the employer tell Agency to make a refund to the TFW that they hire . Some of the TFW directly log a complaint to TEMPORARY WORKER ADVISORY OFFICE who created by then Premier Ed Stelmack in Alberta those Agencies found guilty was revoked their License to operate.

@@GabEstiller Inuuna naman talaga ang may status to work dito sa Canada. Kaya nga may process to hire outside of the existing workforce within Canada which is LMIA which means Labor Market Impact Assessment to see kung talaga walang ma hire dito. Although may mga companies talaga na nag tatake advantage ng LMIA process pero nasa company po un hindi po sa govt. The Govt can just provide guidelines and take action kung may mga employers na nag tatake advantage based on kung may mag report.
