Nothing I've been through can compare to the insane trip your brain can take during those panic attacks from the anxiety/ptsd.every time Amy suffers from anxiety on camera, I feel for her, but I'm also so proud of how Craig helps her through. I never suffered from anxiety/depression prior to my diagnosis, boy has it been a journey to learn to cope, but it will still poke its ugly head out when you least expect it. As a Moroccan I can confirm that all shipping companies are scammers. for example in the last few months the government forced us to pay custom taxes on every single product we buy outside from Morocco which isn't a big problem. but shipping companies took this opportunity to scam people by telling them that should pay 300$ for custom duties if they wanted their expensive products to be delivered while the real price is only 70$..for cheaper products they ask you to pay like 40$ for something that cost 10$ and which it's custom duties is barely 3$. of course they refuse to give any official invoices to justify these prices. So shipping companies are indeed scamers

We absolutely loved our time in Morocco and it's people and that certainly shows in all our posts and other videos. We had an unfortunate and very stressful time leaving Morocco but it was not a reflection of all Moroccans, just one person, it's important for us to highlight situations like this so it doesn't happen to anyone else ✌️ We LOVED our time in Morocco and would happily recommend visiting the country to everyone ❤️ We're STILL waiting for Custard the bus to land in Barcelona - apparently she'll arrive tomorrow - who thinks she'll make it? Nothing is more frustrating, irritating, annoying and hopeless than dealing with a scammer who is likely giving a cut to the person you think is legit. I lived in Shanghai for over two years, and yes, there are scammers, downright thieves IMO, but generally I found my time there much like my overall 7-8 years in China. Plus two extended trips. After spending nine months in Morocco during the beginning of the Pandemic we can affirm that the police don’t communicate and they have no idea what is going on. It’s an interesting country. We are so sad to see you go through this though. That is the ultimate scam for sure:(
@sandranatali12602 жыл бұрын
The police probably do know what's going on, but don't know how to handle these situations, or these criminals. Culturally things, are so different for those of us born in different countries. You get the feeling that many of the Moroccans have learned they can benefit from abusing their tourists. Especially since the pandemic, which most people are suffering financially, so scamming has become their way to make a living. I believe this is not only happening in Morocco but in many other countries. I am not traveling, I live in Hawaii, in which I find myself weekly, where someone is trying to scam me, a friend or a family member. Being in lockdown, Covid pandemic has turned our world's upside down. It's become a war of survival, meaning financial survival. The situation they have found themselves in, being the victim, has the potential to effect them for years to come. My heart crys for them, the only thing I can do, is pray that all of this, will be resolved to a brighter future.

I am Moroccan & I live in the uk for over 20 years. There are scammers everywhere. Myself & so many Brits experienced so much scamming from similar crooks for the last 20 years till the Law changed & went harder on them. If this couple went to Police, they will get their last penny on them. They have them on film, if they make a formal complain , they sent it to me & I ensure that police will get to them & get their money back !

@@Daniel-nt5gh I'm sorry that you had bad experiences but your use of the word "civilized" is inappropriate. There are bad and good people everywhere, as you acknowledge. Denouncing an entire country as uncivilized is, at best, ignorant, and, at worst, racist.
@Daniel-nt5gh2 жыл бұрын
@@clairetheoret1108 English is not my mother tongue, I might have used a different world like "developed countries", was not my intention to offend but describe. But ignorant my comment was not, because I have been there, meet many many Moroccans. I have helped some, and I have been many hours at many Moroccans houses, even in shanties, drank so many teas and so on. I bet much more than most had. Even my uncle was born at Sahara, so... But it is a reality that being a tourist at Morocco will not be always a pleasant experience, that is the honest truth. On top of that Moroco is a dictatorship and in pandemic times you can not know what is going to happen with a solid legal base regarding visas or any kind of paperwork as these videos had proven. Saying that is a hard place to live and visit with no respect for human rights and with some people having medieval thinking about women, is not being racist it is being honest.

Those of us who have traveled to Morocco are well aware of how frankly dangerous it is to your pocketbook, due to scams and thieves; this is NOT about the regular, honest citizens, but a small group of criminals who prey upon vulnerable tourists who don't know the language, etc. Morocco is a beautiful country, very exotic and cool, but it can be VERY difficult for tourists. Probably the best way to see the country is to either have friends and contacts there with whom you can stay, or go in an organized tour group. My girlfriend went with a guided tour, and was very protected by the tour organization and guides.
