I love the way the Indian Government has very effectively killed their legitimate tech call centres by their failure to close these places down. South Asian accent? Hang up. Turns out it was genuine? Change supplier, most call centres have already relocated back to the UK.

I agree totally, if I get a call from someone with an Indian accent I hang up, I no longer trust them. I wish more companies would invest in UK call centres instead of choosing the cheapest option. I know some banks outsource to India which worry me about how secure people’s data are given the level of corruption there. I avoid using these banks and companies for that reason.
