The test of deciding who is the servant and who is the master is done by hire and fire method. the one who has the power to hire or fire a person is the master. That’s why the police were asking, “who hired you ?” also, their name is recorded in the police data-base. They are not let free, they are under watch. Meaning, if they got caught the second time, the punishment will be harsher.

My next door neighbour was newly retired and didn't have much of a nestegg from her hard work all her life but enough to be comfortable. She got caught up in this sort of scam and lost everything she worked for...... She commited suicide the next day. She had a heart of gold and has/would have help anyone in need. Scammers took my elderly neighbor for her entire life's savings. She didn't even understand how it happened after we explained it to her. About 3 yrs later she fell for another one and when she went to the store to buy gift cards the young people who were working at the store recognized it as a scam and stopped her from buying them. 89 years old and so vulnerable.
