Wow, this scammer is especially stupid. Normally they ask their victims to type the refund amount and then add extra zeros. I never expected them to use a transaction number to claim extra money was sent, that’s a new one. Big red flag. How in the world is adding an extra 7 going to change the refund amount? His word salad to explain what’s going on just made it even harder to follow. In short, his explanation made absolutely no sense. Good job making this scumbag rage.

Sometimes, when an actual answer can be prompted from them, they'll explain that they want their 'right' money rather than 'stolen' money, and if they just took back the money sent on accident then it would be 'stolen' money. Still bonkers but at least some sort of explanation.
