My elderly parents were scammed like this, so I delight in spoofing these jerks on the phone. Last week I kept one on the phone for 45 minutes reading and re-reading a fake debit card number. I told her that I had terrible eyesight and "wait, let me try again". I told her that I needed to go the eye doctor but couldn't see well enough to drive to an appointment. 😂 She asked me if there was anyone who could read the numbers for me and I told her that I don't have any friends. She was even phishing for passwords and asked for my pets' names. The answer was "Bow and Wow". 😂 The whole conversation was hilarious. I figure that as long as I have even one scammer tied up, that's one less vulnerable person who isn't being scammed, but I'm going to have to get a voice changer so I can have a little more fun. 😈😈😈

A lot of people who speak Indian languages, when speaking English, will say 'he' when speaking about a female. It's because they are using their own language's format. His/her can be the same word. Using the male or female version of the word (example 'iski/iska') is dependent on whether the thing they are talking about is a masculine or feminine word (think 'la puerta, el libro' from Spanish class). Everyone typically gets called 'he' when speaking English unless the speaker went to an expensive international school and speaks English as a native. Also, there are a fair amount of Nigerians working in Indian call centres. Many Nigerians come to India to study. College students often need quick cash.
