Most are complete assholes, yet some are extremely nice, trying to play off someone’s empathy. They got me for ten bucks once. I was selling something on OfferUp for the first time, so I had no idea how it all works. He said he needed to secure a transaction line from me to him, and to set up some Apple Gift card nonsense. Wasn’t expensive so I thought I’d entertain it as my sale was going to be for several hundred dollars. The voices have a TON to do with it. If they think you're a younger person, their trigger finger for hanging up the line gets itchy right away. They know the chances of someone younger who knows their way around technology and has likely heard of these scams won't bite. It's why his most successful calls are when he's posing as Edna or...I forget the older man's name. A ton of them are also very chauvinistic and assume a woman is easier to fool (hence why his young girl impression works too). You either have to pose as an older person or someone with a farm drawl, that might not understand technology so well. Also, it might be best to do it on a FireRTC or some VoIP service as opposed to your own phone. Scammers love to pass numbers along that screwed with them as sortof a middle finger/last laugh. It's why Kitboga gets so many other scammers calling him while he's already talking to one. Whatever artificial numbers he uses make the rounds and other scammers call, whether they know it's Kitboga or not.

He does comedy, real live entertainment that is really much better to laugh at than all the scripted junk on TV. He makes people aware of your cheap scams on the internet. He sabotages your scams and makes life difficult for scammers like you. It is much more honorable job than you will ever have.

We get them in Australia, too, but i found many are from The Philippines as well. In fact, all the scammers calling me are Filippino. They tell me I have hackers on my network, and i just say "Thank you for letting me know my friends are contacting me! It's sooooooo nice to get personalised messages!". I tell them I'm a hacker, and they get scared and hang up! 😂

@@emmanuelpapi, yes, I am! Surprisingly, though, I don't get many calls. One group of scammers, I shut down their number. I call them back on their second number (they had two until I called them incessantly), and ask them if they regret calling me. I will do their second number soon! I want them to feel at ease, and relaxed before I strike again! Revenge is a dish best served cold. 😂

Yep, I live in New Zealand too and my mum recently got a call from a scammer pretending to be Spark (An internet provider over here, for those who don't know) Thankfully she knew it was a scam and hung up on them. These slimeballs are everywhere. :(

You have to love how useless and unworthy the real scammer becomes whenever Kitboga does dual roles. They just become pointless background noise, as they repeat the same lines, probably trying to stay on script while processing what's happening, not getting anywhere. It's just lovely.

Watching this absolute legend waste their time and making them look like fools, has actually given me confidence when I receive a scam call. So far had three this week and even my eldest daughter will join in by making up different stories as to who she is too. Our longest so far was 47 minutes long. Thank you kitboga you are awesome

I had one call one time and leave me a voicemail - claimed he was from the Attorney Generals office...no particular Attorney General...just "the" Attorney Generals office and that my arrest warrant was active and "The Judge" was currently waiting for me to appear in court. I thought I was gonna laugh till I cried.

Or living somewhere where they are technically behind several years. Because at some point it was possible to send texts to home phones - a computer generated voice would read the texts to you. Must have been a good 20 years ago when that was still possible, I remember being in middle school when that stopped being a thing.
