Your Scamp next to the Airstream reminded me: one night we parked at a Cabellas and there were only two RVs staying there…us in our teardrop camper and the million dollar Prevost next to us.

I always find that funny- you get to stay in the same spot with a tear drop or a rolling mansion 😂😂

i've got a 2000 sq ft home that i had built in 2000 - and things still seem to break or need maintenence. regardless of our living situations, we're all in the same boat in that department! LOL

oh yes- we all get to deal with the fun of things breaking- just part of life no matter what you are living in 😊

Thanks for letting us tag along. I remember when I finally got rid of my old motorhome it was mainly held together with duct tape and chicken wire. 🙂

yup we are getting pretty close to that! instead of dog years we should count in "RV years"...1 year of use = 10 years ...so old Doris is about 110 years old

Hey there Laura and Patrick and Redford! I'm in San Diego right now and the sky looks similar. It's the marine layer here. I used to like trains, but now they roll through all night and day long and they blare their horn at 3 crossings at the edges of town. It is hard to sleep with the window open. My romance with trains is over😂 What will break next in the Scamp? We will see. Take care!

we have yet to do an overnight train & I am a very light sleeper so I think that would be an issue for me. Oh the poor Scamp...more will break 🙈 good thing she is so darn cute! have fun in San Diego!

Did you guys pack the wheel bearings on the trailer before you left
@LetNewAdventuresBegin Жыл бұрын
we sure did! we try to stay up on the preventative maintenance as much as possible...especially before a long trip 👍
