I bloody need it I'm on new state pension, so do not qualify for winter fuel allowance, no other pension or savings was always on minimum wage so could not afford to save or a private pension, but have worked since I was 15 gave everything I thought when I reached pension age I would be looked after what a joke, can someone tell me, when immigrants come in do they parents or grandparents get a pension

Me too love, worked from the age of 13. Then a proper job at 16 and had 4 years off while my children were young. Did a myriad of part time jobs that I could fit in with the kids - as most of us did in those days. Even though I had 30 odd years of working, never claimed a penny in benefits and am on the state pension that is the lowest - together, husband and I don’t qualify for pension credit so get non of the free boilers or lump sums for cost of living - just nothing - after working all those years and claiming not one penny, you get dumped from a great height as soon as you stop working …..

Why does the government sent money to countries that don’t need it? Spend it on our country. The home office overspent £7.8 billion on migrants, why are illegal migrants given top class accommodation, they could surely cut that by using cheaper accommodation that is suitable, and used furniture not buying brand new very expensive items, this is an insult to British people who pay tax and cannot afford such luxuries
