Scandal was one of the first J-Rock bands I discovered since about 4 years ago. I've learned to love about 30 other ones since - but none makes me just smile the way Scandal does. Listening/watching a Scandal vid is at least as good for the soul as petting a kitten or puppy. And yet, when they want to, they kick ass.

Yes, you are right to the core... About 6-8 years ago I searched a lot of J-girl bands, only Scandal and 2 more that can catch my ear (others are Maria and Stereopony, both already disbanded).

From a photographic angle, it's weird, in a little way. If you look at it like a fashion photographer shooting models, the rest of the girls are much prettier than Haruna, but Haruna is far cuter than they are. And it's not glamour either - they've all got a girl-next-door sort of vibe even in the more metal-influenced videos. Maybe it stands out more in Haruna

huh? I didn't understand. Why you are comparing this to kpop. There are thousands of choreography in kpop you can't generalize and say not a single 1 is good. lol. There are groups that don't even dance just sing in kpop. wtf are you talking about. Let me give an example watch big bang sober it's not a underground song, it's really popular but they don't even properly dance on it, not to mention, their voice is so powerful. :), Scandal is a japanese band, but kpop bands make the songs that consist of choreography and the song and most of the time it's just for the title track, on the other songs they just dance around on the stage just like scandal does, please explain wtf you just said 😂 I'm heavily triggered:_)

Yeah they have been removed and uploaded a few times. It's due to Japans strict copyright law on music, sucks for the foreign fan, for a few years there were songs we just couldn't listen too :(
