I think Zhu is not feeling well that was why the coach wanted her to rest. If you watch the match after Zhu spike, she will wince in pain and there is a patch at the back of her neck which might be a muscle pull injury

It is so hilarious, dump, dense idea of Scandicci coach to think to win with ease without Zhu. He knows well about Zhu while he was with Ecz as Vakif and Zhu beat them straight 3 seasons and winning Turkish league 3 years straight, 2 CEV league, 2 CWC.

At the beginning of set 1, without zhu ting, bergamo alone could beat scandici, even with a long enough point distance.. zhu had to struggle with being 6 points behind. when zhu enters, it will increase the morale of scandici players. and fortunately the points can be matched and finally get set 1...but this is the coach's overly confident strategy. In the next season, the team must improve. At least when Zhu is not playing, Scandici is still strong.

Mi fanno ridere i commenti sull'assenza di Zhu nel primo set da parte dei tifosi che guardano solo la sintesi. Zhu Ting ha problemi al collo e quindi Barbolini ha preferito non schierata dall'inizio. Quanto al dire che Scandicci è più debole senza Zhu, mi sembra una cosa ovvia. È la migliore giocatrice della rosa e la sua assenza è pesante, un po' come togliere Haak da Conegliano.

They have to understand that is not a problem if she isn't MVP for one match or if she don't play one set, they must have confidence in the coach because he has a great palmares (look Wikipedia)

E dopo lo scontro turchi vs brasiliani in tema fanatismo di cui dicevamo altrove😉, eccoci con i fan cinesi😁..scherzi a parte, è noto il mio amore per ZhuTing, la cui assenza, come evidenzi benissimo, non può non pesare. Ma chi non sta al meglio va fatto rifiatare. Secondo me anche senza lei, alla fine la spuntava Scandicci.

Penso anch'io che alla fine Scandicci avrebbe prevalso. Forse Barbolini non ha voluto rischiare visto che Antropova non sembrava nello stesso stato di grazia della serata di coppa.
