I just made this with what I think is 2mm. I cut the strings 3 meters long but they only needed to be 2½ meters. Finished product is 25 cm wide and 34 cm long (8cm of that is the tassels at the bottom). Hopefully these measurements are helpful to someone! This video is so easy to follow! I will be making more of these to give as gifts.
