It's funny...I've always done these things and never knew about hygge....to me this just explains "home" and making it cozy with obvious things. ♡

Candles and tea in a nook, that sounds so hygge! It's nice to be reminded how cozy our homes already are. That simple effort of lighting a candle on a dreary day can go a long way! ☺

I fit the bill! I have many nooks. Wood floors. Log walls. Hand crafter wood items. A fireplace in and a fire pit out,and far too many books! Every room in fact. I have pottery and china.i am a Maximilist though and not minimalist like the danish.
