Returning to the retro future "Waste My Time" is an upbeat and defiant track about a relationship gone wrong. Complex electronic elements blend with synthesizers and gritty guitars to push an atmosphere full of anxiety and grim determination. The provocative lyrics draw the obvious conclusion. Why in the world do I waste my time? "Waste My Time" is another example of just how wide and diverse Klayton's musical talents are as he raised the bar to yet more heights while simultaneously hinting at what's to come.

It actually amazes me to see that Klayton got two of his bands to collaborate Scandroid and Celldweller. Both singers of the band are Klayton himself. He’s an amazing singer and music producer. I know Celldweller is an older band.. but my dang. They really changed up their music. It’s like industrial mixed with alternative rock. Great job on this song. It takes a different turn on Celldweller and Scandroid on how they sound now.

Actually, this is quite interesting. There may be some... suggestions on the issue. But, I suppose, that these 2 projects are pretty different to Celldweller himself. So, this is a collab of 2 projects, and not a music of Only Scandroid or Only Celdweller.

JUST discovered Klayton / Scandroid (/etc). always wanted to find stuff like his, but THIS...THIS is checking every box of music I LOVE. Rock / Pop / Punk / tech (without being overly dark or industrial) in the perfect mix. I have even tried to create something similar and couldn't get it quite right. An album of this would be amazing hint hint. anyone has other suggestions would appreciate them, this song has been on repeat and shuffle since I heard it. and it's only 2 mins long. ugh.

On October 15th 2023, this marked the end of my would-be 6-year relationship with my ex-girlfriend. We still care about her, but we both weren't as good for each other as we felt. She was worried about my mental health for over a year, worried I'd take a permanent path, and she wanted to keep me alive and safe and happy even though it was killing her.
