Glad the video could be some help! I’ve definitely appreciated all the features of the ScanGauge so far.

Was there any other gauges you were looking at before you got the ScanGauge 3?
@TrailSportPilot6 ай бұрын
@@TooManyHobbiesJeremy I was pretty set on the ScanGauge from the start. I know some people use Bluetooth gauges but I wanted a hard mounted system that would give me audible alerts if my temps got too high while driving.

I wonder if i can set it up like yours on the Fk8 type r, since there is already an opening in that area right below the infotainment screen.

@@LoveLikeaHurricane you’d need to measure to be sure it fit there, but the ScanGauge would definitely work with your Type R.

Why does it show Coolant 1 and Coolant 2? Is this because you have a vcm tuner installed? What is the reason for two coolant readings?
@TrailSportPilot4 ай бұрын
@zachbush1940 I don't have a VCM tuner in this vehicle. My understanding is that most/all Hondas (to include the new generation Pilots) have two Engine Coolant Temperature Sensors (ECTs). ECT 1 is located at the radiator and ECT 2 is post radiator in the reservoir which is why the 2nd temp is significantly lower than the first. Since making this video I have actually dropped ECT 2 from my ScanGauge screen as it's didn't provide any information I needed and I wanted to make room for additional gauges. Hope this helps. -TSP
