As a diehard Cummins fan i must say Scania engines seem efficient on fuel you can find them in tractors construction equipment boats etc Kohler used Scania engines on their generators Case used them on their tractors I'm surprised the Scania v8 doesn't snap cranks unlike the other diesel V8 did. But I've heard v8 diesels are a pain in the butt to work on Which is probably why most trucks are inline 6.

No7 exhaust valve clearance is two thousanths too tight but yep other than that superb 👍🏼Jo
