earlier this week during my daly trucking job, i came by the Scania dealer in hoovliet-rotterdam. i saw thebrand net generation Scania standing tere. considering i needed to take my obligatory break ayway, so i stepped into the dealership asking if i could make a video of the truck, which theyagreed with. sorry if the video is a bit shaky. i only carry my camcorder with me during my job. enjoy!

TheDarkChikken i think that will be a big issue due to all the electronics. even with the current euro 6 scania's it is nearly impossible to get a open exhaust on the truck.

Fire breather..the old 144-530 was a great puller and had a nice note to it I can't imagine what this is like. Must be a real hill flattener - Uk weights need to go up to 50 tonne now and 7 axles..

Kees Kaas ik ben gewoon een chauffeur en enthousiasteling. ik kwam deze tegen bij de scania dealer in hoogvliet, en het kwam mooi uit met de rijtijdpauze. ik ben gewoon naar binnen gelopen met de vraag of ik er een video van mocht maken. of deze daar nog rondt rijd weet ik niet, hoewel ik her en der wel exact gelijke trucks tegenkom op de weg.

Why do the European trucks never have big sleepers? I like these cab-over trucks but they have no room in the back.

That is because of all the regulations regarding max length. If we have bigger sleeper cabs, like some showtrucks that extend the original cab, the truck is legally too long to pull a regular trailer. Whoch mean you need a shorter trailer, so less payload.

@@Theshowtruckchannel I guess its understandable considering the narrow roads in Europe. Cab-overs used to be big in America until they reduced the regulations on truck length and allowed for what we call conventional cab trucks. www.roadprobrands.com/blog-posts/what-happened-to-cabovers I would like to see them make a return though because they do have several advantages.

CAElite nope !!! It pulls faster than any other truck .... Consumes less fuel and if you take something have to be delivered in time like fresh food then you need that power and speed!! It has so much tourk that you wont slow down on hills!!

SHMEKER-Single axle tractors are usually lighter duty and that motor would be better served in truck with 2 drive axles.

You can choose if you want 1 or 2 beds from factory. I guess this one is opted with one bed.

it is. the only issue is that you cannot prep the exhaust for the classic v8 sound anymore. even if you are ableto do so, it doesnot sound that good.

Yeah, because of all the regulations regarding length and stuff. I did get the oppertunity to drive a 1986 peterbilt in florida, and also a bobtail peterbilt in louisville. That was a completely different driving experience for sure, i loved every second of it.
