Thank you for creating options for different PLC programmers on the shopping floor. I'm currently on a PLC training course for the OMRON PLC and this has been very resourceful in advance for my training.

You have to thank Dave, Managing Director and my dad! He was the one to introduce and train me at 15 years old! Gained a lot of valuable experience over the last 13 years.

Is there a way to access the value of the counter at any point? I am trying to count the number of faults in a given part cycle and move that value to another data register. I am used to AB where timers and counters have bits automatically associated with them (.TT , .DN etc...)
@ScantimeAutomationTraining2 жыл бұрын
Not that I can recall, I remember these being more restrictive than Siemens and Allen Bradley Counters.

Is it really a true Retentive Timer though? Do you not lose tenths of seconds each time you hit the Stop Button before the Timer hits the full second and increases the Timer count. Great video though, great tutorial!
@ScantimeAutomationTraining8 ай бұрын
That is correct, however if we want that much accuracy, we would then look at the specs of what we can get from a PLC
