I know that your videos are from a year ago, but I sincerely hope you don't stop making them. I can't even begin to tell you how helpful your videos and clear instruction have been for me. Some of your vids have aided me through labs/clinicals! It's funny how information can make sense with the right instructor!

This is entirely helpful especially when I feel like my instructor rushes through explaining. Thank you so much !

very useful videos for people starting work in the profession or learning. maybe next time you will show how to perform tests such as: urography, hysterosalpingography, examination of the upper digestive tract, cystography and others.

I truly hate fluoro exams they are very boring to me in the tech role, especially since many facilities at least in my area no longer do the after images they simply shoot while fluoro is on. II can try showing a few of the ones that are done more regularly :)

This is amazing. I’m three days from my second year xray school and still struggle with the Y view. However my clinical sites does them AP. I’m going to try PA

Nice videos. I would be glad to see the x-ray image after the projection. In that way, X-ray techs can see what they are expected to demonstrate on the radiograph. Thank you.

Thanks for much for the video! I am struggling with these in clinical. Is she rotated 45 or 90 degrees to get the humeral head perpendicular to the board?

It totally depends on the patient, anywhere from 45-60 degrees, once the scapula is flat and perpendicular to the IR the patient is appropriately rotated :)

Any possibility of doing a y view on a large patient when you can’t feel landmarks?

I'll work on that typically though you can at least feel the bottom of the scapula just have to unfortunately push a little harder

Is there a difference between laterL shoulder girdle. And the scapula? I'm having a hard time because I have a very limited license. I'm allowed to perform lateral shoulder girdles. But am under the impression I cannot do scap y

I'm not sure what the limited license includes or what they call exams I'll look into this though

How about angulation..?

there are methods that do include an angle, this example is just the regular perpendicular image :)

The posterior pony tail is totally in the way…. Whatever the tech was doing with her right hand to position, was obscured by the patients pony tail, for crying out loud.

She explained wayyy too much and made it confusing .. Just my opinion.. Ap would be better since all the other shoulder projections are in Ap..
