It's always magical to do music with you. You sound completely out of this world and it's even more mesmerizing to see you sing. Thank you so much for doing this with me! :)

Beautifully arranged, sung, played and great video work! I love Karliene’s Scottish accent here with the beautiful harmonies. The steady pizz is brilliant and I really love all the delicate cello embellishments on the main melody while K is singing. I appreciate the cello solo ending the song in a somber mood as befits the story behind the song. This is a fantastic arrangement! This is the new quintessential “Scarborough Fair”. Move over Simon and Garfunkel! The only thing missing is a shot of you and K taking a bow while thousands of KZbin viewers give a standing ovation.

Dutch: Het is werkelijk een genot om naar te luisteren. English: It is truly a pleasure to listen to this. I know how to speak out your surname in French, but in Dutch it translate well to English.

This has been a favourite song of mine since the late sixties. That version however pales in comparison to this one. Thank you Roxane and Karliene. Stay Safe.

Lovely work, both of you. ^^ This melody... I love it so much. I don't think I've ever heard the more than the refrain of Scarborough Fair, either, so that was a treat. But all the lyrics I've heard set to the melody are haunting. Edit: Well, much to my chagrin, I realised after posting this that Scarborough Fair and Greensleeves are not the same melody. So it's Greensleeves I've heard multiple lyrics set to. Both tunes, however, do share that haunting quality!

Really? Karliene has the perfect accent here. I think this is exactly the way how it should be sung. Finally it looks like an old song.
@RoxaneGenot5 жыл бұрын
Oh, so sorry to hear you had so much trouble listening to this song. It's quite funny though, because to me this way of singing such an old English song is actually the finest, and the most enjoyable thing to listen to. And well, above all Karliene's genuine Scottish accent is one of the rare beautiful, inspiring things one can ever be lucky enough to hear, and to be able to add a musical line to such a beauty is certainly the most valuable privilege a musician can ever have.
@aurorebonal12625 жыл бұрын
Maybe if you clean your ears you'll hear better, her accent is lovely. If you don't like, you pass your way, we don't need you here.
